About J. Vincent Riggs
J. Vincent Riggs attended the University of Kentucky where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Mr. Riggs received his Juris Doctorate from the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia.

Mr. Riggs worked for the Kroger Company for 21 years, and then he was appointed Compliance Officer in the Fayette Family Court. He joined a small family law firm after serving as the firm’s law clerk while attending law school. Later, Mr. Riggs worked for Legal Aid of the Bluegrass and then Mr. Riggs opened his own law practice where he practices primarily family and civil law and continues to take contract cases from Legal Aid of the Bluegrass.
Mr. Riggs is a member of the board of directors for Sunflower Kids, Inc., a non-profit agency that provides supervised visitation services for those parents who could not otherwise visit with their children.
Mr. Riggs is a member of the American Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association and the Fayette County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all state Courts of Kentucky.
A life-long member of the Lexington community, Mr. Riggs devotes a considerable amount of time representing those parties who would not otherwise have legal representation because of their economic circumstances.
